Verification of Conformity (VOC)

On May 31, 2022, GOEIC authorized CIS to test, inspect, and verify the conformity of all applicable goods intended for export to Egypt under the GOEIC program, in accordance with EOS standards and/or international standards.

In May 2012, the Egyptian Government officially launched the VOC program under Ministerial Decree 961/2012, which required textile and leather products to obtain a Certificate of Conformity (COC) before shipment. In March 2016, the government issued another decree (Ministerial Decree 43/2016), expanding the VOC program to cover a wide range of product categories. CIS is accredited to certify all product groups applicable under the GOEIC VOC program.

Upon successful completion of conformity verification, CIS issues a Certificate of Conformity (COC), which is required for customs clearance at all entry points in Egypt.
